The first objective of this paper is to present the accountability request geared towards universities and IC measurement and reporting as the answer to it. One of the main approaches to the assessment of performance, ensuring control and promoting accountability in the universities has become intellectual capital reporting. However, at the same time they have to prove efficient resource management, disclose properly their outcomes, and demonstrate high level of transparency and accountability in support of clearly defined and feasible goals. Universities worldwide are going through the important transformation processes aiming to make them more autonomou, economically efficient and competitive. For researchers this study provides a basis for further refinement of individual technology acceptance model in banking setting. These findings may helpful for policy makers to understand critical factors that influence on user’s intention to accept internet banking. Findings revealed that website design, customer service, assurance and brand image have significant influence on user’s intention to accept internet banking. Data was analyzed using the structural equation modeling (SEM). The research model was empirically tested using 500 responses from internet banking users.
Thus a research framework is outlined with factors such as website design, assurance, customer service and brand image in order to identify which factors drives customer’s intention towards acceptance of internet banking and enhance the customer loyalty. This study aims to identify the main determinants of internet banking acceptance and customer loyalty. The rapid growth in internet technology and electronic business has stimulated the banking sectors to encourage customers towards acceptance of online banking system. Internet Banking is receiving growing attention globally. The article is empirical, but it also presents ideas for the development of conferences as attractive products in the contemporary economy of the European Union. Contemporary international academic conferences lasting a few days epitomize multiple products on tourism market. Some of the most important conditions of the attractiveness of the conference for participants, including transport and information accessibility as well as to the originality of the destination and the leisure program for participants, were indicated. In addition, a direct survey using a research questionnaire via a website and addressed to participants on an Erasmus International Week in Kaunas was made.
To achieve this aim, methods of analysing the literature, reports, synthesis, along with passive and active observation were used.
The paper identifies selected determinants of attractiveness of international academic conferences as products on the contemporary international tourism market, especially on the business tourism market. They refer to CSR standards, participate in sustainable shipping initiatives, create coherent strategies that skilfully combine environmental, social and business goals. Leading shipping companies in the field of CSR are shipowners with significant market shares. They depend on the specificity of the company, primarily on the size of tonnage at disposal and market presence strategies. Significant disparities in the approach to CSR are evident. In order to answer that question the multi-case study of container shipowners was prepared. The research question was asked about the identification of possible ways of understanding and implementing sustainable ideas in shipping companies operating in container market. The aim of the paper is to identify joint maritime industry initiatives promoting socially responsible shipping companies and to point out areas of interest for Corporate Social Responsibility raised by shipowners. Creating a CSR strategy and preparing a sustainability report has become more and more popular among a wide range of branches including the blue economy.
